No Ping.fm aggregates content to social platforms like twitter, plurk and facebook just to name a few. I have friends/followers in those communities so it is convenient to be able to update my social platforms with new blog posts so that my friends/followers can see it.

Hi Charles,

Wordpress already submits my blog posts to various places as part of the ping set up. I also submit my posts to 'onlywire'

Won't I be duplicating the posts if I us ping.fm?

By the way - http://www.ping.fm didn't work when I first tried it - they might be having trouble with their redirects - might be an idea to change the URL to http://ping.fm...

What are the 13 networks you use Charles?
