  • Rochelle Beach · 1 year ago
Thank you for caring enough about others to share your experience, knowledge and time with people such as myself who are eager to learn about the social networking world.

I look forward to reading all of the information on your website and applying it to my homebased craft business.

    Hey Charles

Great to see you setup a braindump blog... we sure could use your expertise in the online game.
I am one of your students at U2020 and i often wondered: "when does Charles come up with new ideas? how does he plan his "attacks"?"
    Maybe we'll find out :)
Take care and... bring it on :)

    @Rochelle and @Catalin...

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Things are going to get really exciting around here and over at SEO20/20... This blog is a case study in SMM.

    Hello Charles,

Best of luck with your new blog. I'm a big fan of SEO2020 and it's one of the few newsletters I look forward to reading. I completely agree with your view towards 'Making Money", I just don't know if I could of expressed myself as elegantly as you did.

    Good luck

    Thank you Paul,

Yes, the biggest lesson new Internet marketers need to learn is to quit chasing the "make money" illusion and start chasing their personal passions and interests instead... Then offer a product or service that enhances the lives of those that share your interests and passions.

This is a simple and very regurgitated saying but it is VERY true.

    HI Charles,

I've started experimenting with doing some video web posts on a couple of blogs, and I'm beginning to prefer them to writing a posts.

What's the process here if I wanted to post a video comment?

    Is that something you're allowing?

    Glen,

To post video comment here you simply upload your comment to Revver and then pop the Revver ID in the Revver Video ID box right below your comment.

Revver will then display your comment here...

You can also upload your video right here as well and then it will display automatically after Revver gets done working their magic with it.

All these options are available right below the comment box...

Charles I am in the process myself of getting my wordpress up so I can have a place to 'dump' all my daily SMM meanderings into one spot and streamline my online presence. Thanks to twitter for making the connection to you. Great entries in here. Looking forward to reading (and sharing) more.

    Hi Adam,

That's just proof that social media works. Twitter is useful though highly shrouded in mystery and doubt.

    Thank you for the comment.

Yes I find myself explaining twitter to people every day but I still tell them they must use it to fully realize it's reach.

Almost every day I find a new use for twitter. I could keep a daily blog on just the 3 new reasons I love twitter today.

    Charles,

Your reply to Paul on Jan 11th is so very true, but it is hard to get new internet marketers to understand that until they have been online chasing the money dream and it has not worked. Once they have failed a few times (or many) that is when your words to Paul are fully understood. Well, then again....some never do get it because they give up.

    Best regards,
    Julia

@ Julia & @ GuruBob - Thank you for your comments.

@ Julia - I am working to flip the script on the way that newcomers seek and understand IM. Not an easy task but definitely doable over time.

Thanks for the blog. i have been making money on the Internet for a few years and agree with you. You need to provide services or products that are goos. Not something copied or put together quickly that offers no practical content.

    Hey Charles,

Great insight into the inner workings of social media. I think it's pretty obvious that when it comes to social media, no one cares about your product. It's all about how you help them solve their problems. By listening to what people in your market are saying and responding with solutions, will give you the most attention in return.
